The AVR-1613P allows you to enjoy not only the dynamic surround sound of the latest 3D videos in a 5.1-channel home theater but a variety of advanced network functions as well. These functions let you listen to Internet radio or play music files stored on a shared hard disk (NAS) or PC. Since the AVR-1613P also supports AirPlay®, you can listen to music content from the iTunes® library in your iPad®, iPhone®, iPod®, iPod touch®, or PC/Mac via the network. In addition, if you download the new Denon Remote App to your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, or an Android smartphone, you can use a plethora of network capabilities and functions allow you to enrich your entertainment world including AirPlay, DLNA 1.5 certified, Windows 7 compatible, Internet radio, SiriusXM Internet Radio, Pandora, Photo streaming, flickr, FLAC HD, High-resolution audio file playback.

To faithfully reproduce the original surround sound, each of the AVR-1613P’s 5 channels is equipped with the same power amp of equal power. Since these power amps also use discrete circuits configured with parts strictly selected for their contribution to high sound quality, rather than with low-cost integrated circuits (ICs), the surround sound playback is of impeccably high quality.

Featuring 3D pass-through technology
By connecting a 3D-compliant Blu-ray disc player and 3D-compliant TV to the AVR-1613P, you will have a 3D home theater where you can enjoy high-definition sound and video on a level you’ve never experienced before.

High-definition audio support
The AVR-1613P has a decoder that supports Dolby TrueHD, the audio format of Blu-ray disc players, and DTS-HD, another high-grade digital audio format.
